Types of (I) Railway Freight Transport
The current types of railway freight transport are divided into complete vehicles, LTL and containers. The whole vehicle is suitable for bulk goods; LTL is suitable for sporadic goods; containers are suitable for precision, valuable and vulnerable goods.
The shipper can choose according to the quantity, nature, state, shape and other characteristics of the goods, so as to achieve the purpose of safe, rapid, economic and convenient delivery of the goods.
(II) according to a batch of transport conditions
Rail transport of goods in batch units. A "batch" is a unit of transport and a unit for the carrier to calculate the cost of transporting goods. The shipper, consignee, departure station, arrival station and loading and unloading place of a batch of goods must be the same (except for the goods unloaded by the whole vehicle).
The whole car goods are in batches of one car (but for cross-loading, climbing loading and traveling car goods, each car group can be in batches), LTL goods are in batches of goods consigned in each cargo waybill, and container goods are in batches of containers consigned in each cargo waybill (each batch must be of the same box type, at least one box, and shall not exceed the number of boxes that a railway truck can carry).
The following situations cannot be handled as a batch:

For the carriage of goods by rail, the shipper and the carrier shall sign a contract of carriage. Transport contracts for bulk vehicle cargoes may be signed on a quarterly, semi-annual, annual or longer basis, and a monthly rail transport plan may be proposed. Other complete vehicle goods can be used as transportation contracts for railway cargo transportation service orders. When the whole vehicle cargo is delivered, it is also necessary to submit to the carrier the cargo waybill, the zero-load cargo and the container cargo, and the cargo waybill as the contract of carriage.
(IV) cargo waybill
The shipper's presentation of a cargo bill to the carrier is an offer to sign a contract, I .e. its willingness to sign a contract of carriage. The contract of carriage is established after the goods are delivered to the carrier according to the contents of the goods consignment note, the carrier receives the goods according to the goods consignment note, collects the transportation costs, and stamps the consignment note. The shipper, the consignee and the carrier begin to be liable. The cargo waybill format consists of two parts, the left side of the waybill, the right side of the receipt voucher. The back of the waybill and the receipt of goods is printed with "shipper's notice" and "consignee's notice of receipt" respectively ". Each batch of goods to fill out a cargo waybill, according to the requirements of the column by the shipper and carrier to fill out. Fill in the content must be detailed and correct, the text is standard, the handwriting is clear, do not use pencil or red ink. If the content is changed, the change must be stamped with the seal of the shipper or carrier.

The shipper and the consignee are divided into natural and legal persons. The shipper or consignee is a legal person and may designate a legal representative (or legal agent) to handle the transport formalities with the railway department gate to fulfill its rights and obligations. The legal representative shall, on the basis of the "power of attorney" issued by the shipper and consignee (in the following format), handle the corresponding transportation procedures with the carrier.
